BIMP’AIR is the first fully autonomous inflating device, consisting of a compressed air system which can be refilled as often as you like, offering a supremely convenient solution for cyclists. This patented technology offers cyclists a new alternative in the shape of a multi-purpose tool enabling them to inflate tyres, set their air forks and shock absorbers to the right pressure and install tubeless. There is also a version suitable for use with tubeless tyres. All the rider’s requirements are met by this single piece of equipment. This highly-innovative solution is aimed at all long-distance cyclists, freeriders and fans of other types of off-road biking and comes in the shape of a refillable capsule of compressed air. You can say goodbye to the exhausting process of pumping up your bicycle by hand and to expensive and environmentally-damaging CO² capsules, Bimp’Air is the solution of the future. ORIGIN : the originality of the Bimp’Air solution lies in how it uses the energy generated by the bicycle’s motion to produce compressed air. The product comprises 3 components:

  • Bimp’Air CAPS : a refillable compressed air capsule
  • HPS : a 50 bars miniaturized air compressor
  • ENERGY-C : an energy convertor allowing to recover the energy of the bike

  • The cyclist first fits the energy convertor onto the front wheel. They then put the mini air compressor into place. This starts to work as soon as the bicycle begins to move, filling up the capsule in the process. In the space of 6 minutes, moving at a speed of 15km/h, the cyclist will have 11 litres of compressed air at 50 bars, giving them a hassle-free way to inflate their tyres and set their air forks and shock absorbers to the right air pressure. Whether you’re out on the trail, in town or up in the hills, this efficient solution enables you to be totally self-sufficient!

  • THE ENERGY CONVERTOR

    The compressor is attached to the bicycle via the energy convertor, which harnesses the energy of the moving bicycle. It is compatible with max 36 diameter hubs, 9/10 axle. The energy convertor can be simply attached to the bicycle’s air fork. It is located between the wheel and the quick release mechanism – no additional tools are necessary.

  • THE COMPRESSOR

    This is a veritable technological marvel aimed specifically at the cycling world: a miniature air compressor that produces pressure up to 50 bars by drawing on, in part, technology employed in the field of aeronautics. Lighter and less bulky than a water bottle, its remarkable size, performance and weight (a mere 390 grams) herald a real revolution in the production of compressed air. Designed for optimal user-friendliness, this compressor is unbeatable in terms of capsule-filling speed. It can be removed and re-attached in one easy step whenever needed. Once the capsule has been filled, the compressor may be removed.
